These SMS Terms and Conditions govern text messages sent by or on behalf of INeedADownPayment.com.

INeedADownPayment.com is a matching, referral, and educational platform. We are not a lender, creditor, bank, or financial institution, and we do not make credit decisions.

1. Consent to Receive Text Messages

When you separately opt in to receive text messages, you authorize INeedADownPayment.com to send text messages to the mobile number you provide.

Depending on the consent you provide, messages may include:

  • Application reminders
  • Secure resume links
  • Account or security notices
  • Potential-match notifications
  • Provider-selection updates
  • Customer-support responses
  • Service announcements
  • Promotional or marketing messages when separately authorized

Messages may be sent using automated technology. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service or viewing potential options.

Your SMS consent applies only to the sender identified in the consent language. It does not automatically authorize unrelated providers or partners to send marketing messages.

2. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity, application status, communication preferences, and the permissions you provide.

You may receive additional messages when you start or resume an application, request assistance, receive potential matches, or interact with the platform.

3. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan. INeedADownPayment.com does not charge a separate fee for sending text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you.

Contact your wireless carrier with questions about your messaging or data plan.

4. How to Opt Out

You may revoke your SMS consent at any time.

Reply STOP to a message to opt out. We may send one final nonmarketing message confirming that your opt-out request was processed.

After opting out, you will no longer receive text messages covered by that request unless you provide consent again. You may also request an opt-out by emailing [email protected].

Other commonly recognized opt-out words, such as CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, or UNSUBSCRIBE, may also be processed where supported.

6. Transactional and Marketing Messages

Consent for marketing messages is separate from consent for transactional or service-related communications where required.

Opting out of marketing messages may not prevent nonmarketing communications that are legally permitted or necessary to:

  • Protect your account
  • Confirm an opt-out
  • Provide an important security notice
  • Complete another service you specifically requested

You may ask us to stop all text messages by clearly stating that request.

7. Mobile Number Requirements

By providing a mobile number and opting in, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to consent to messages sent to that number

  • You will notify us if the number changes or is reassigned

If your mobile number changes or is transferred to another person, please opt out before discontinuing use of the number or email [email protected].

8. Delivery and Carrier Availability

Text-message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless carrier and service providers. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed or unavailable because of carrier issues, network conditions, device settings, filtering, or other circumstances outside our control.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Not all carriers, devices, or geographic areas may be supported.

9. Privacy

We collect and use information related to the SMS program as described in our Privacy Policy. This may include:

  • Mobile telephone number
  • Consent language and version
  • Date and time of consent
  • Application or account information
  • Message content and delivery status
  • Opt-out and help requests
  • IP address or session information associated with consent

We may use communication providers to deliver and process messages. We do not sell SMS consent to unrelated third parties.

Selecting a potential provider does not authorize that provider to send marketing text messages unless the provider separately obtains any consent required by law.

10. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the SMS program.

11. Changes or Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the SMS program at any time. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date.

If a change materially affects your consent or legal rights, we will provide additional notice or obtain renewed consent when required.
